Welcome to the world of the heavy equipment operators. Heavy equipment operators are the people in charge of operating equipment such as motor graders, excavators, bulldozers, scrapers, compactors, backhoes, wheel loaders, and a variety of other material moving equipment.  Heavy equipment operators and their equipment perform tasks such as land clearing, excavating, digging basements and foundations, trenching for sewer and water, underground electrical lines, and all other underground utilities.
